Angelina Geon, RDH, BSDH, HIAOMT is a biologic dental practitioner, clinical educator, and researcher with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of preventive care, periodontal health, and oral-systemic science. She is the Co-Founder and Clinical Education Director of The Mouth Lab, a practitioner driven research and education collective advancing the clinical application of salivary diagnostics, oral microbiome science, and systems based periodontal care for dental and medical clinicians.

Her work focuses on developing biologic hygiene protocols and repeatable clinical frameworks that help practitioners interpret salivary DNA data, understand microbial patterns, and communicate oral-systemic risk more effectively within everyday practice. Angelina is actively engaged in clinical research exploring oral microbiome modulation and periodontal inflammation and is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT) and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH).

Jazmin Platero, BS is a research and clinical operations leader with a background in kinesiology and healthcare systems. She is the Research Director and Co-Founder of The Mouth Lab, where she supports practitioner education and research focused on oral-systemic health and the oral microbiome.

Her work centers on organizing and supporting the systems behind biologic care, including salivary diagnostic workflows, research coordination, and cross-team collaboration. Jazmin contributes to ongoing clinical research examining oral microbiome modulation and periodontal inflammation, with a focus on data organization and practical application. She brings a systems driven perspective to biologic dentistry, helping translate research insights into clear, repeatable processes that support consistency and scalability within clinical settings.
